Old View UI styling: the developers probably wanted give to everyone a tour for ALL the previous versions of Android, everytime that someone need to debug about something wrong on his theme.
I believe (As disclaimer, I never tried. I normally give up when I see the word "Holo"… ) that if you dig enough on a theme unending inheritance, you'll finally find and say hello to Android cupcake… 🧁
